ÿÈÕ³Ô¹Ï Promise Scholarship at TÿÈÕ³Ô¹Ï

The ÿÈÕ³Ô¹Ï Promise Scholarship at TÿÈÕ³Ô¹Ï was established in 2025 by ÿÈÕ³Ô¹Ï Promise, Inc. to provide scholarships for graduates of ÿÈÕ³Ô¹Ï Public Schools pursuing an undergraduate degree or certificate. The goal of this scholarship is to gradually eliminate financial barriers to post-secondary education. ÿÈÕ³Ô¹Ï Promise was founded in 2016 to reduce such barriers by offering universal access, with the aim of making our community the preferred place to live, work, play, and learn.

Each graduate of Garfield CLC is automatically eligible for The ÿÈÕ³Ô¹Ï Promise Scholarship at TÿÈÕ³Ô¹Ï if they enroll in classes at any campus of TÿÈÕ³Ô¹Ï within one year of earning their high school diploma. Scholarships will be distributed as part of the fall and spring semester billing cycles. The ÿÈÕ³Ô¹Ï Promise Scholarship at TÿÈÕ³Ô¹Ï is a “last dollar” scholarship, meaning it is applied after federal and state financial aid, other grants, and outside scholarships.

Eligibility requirements:

• Recipients must be graduates of Garfield CLC.
• The scholarship is available to students taking at least six credit hours per semester.
• The scholarship is automatically renewable for up to four years, contingent on making satisfactory academic progress toward a degree or certificate.
• Students must maintain good academic standing.
• The scholarship can be applied to any qualified educational expense.
• The scholarship is open to students pursuing any major.

Currently, The ÿÈÕ³Ô¹Ï Promise Scholarship at TÿÈÕ³Ô¹Ï provides $300 in financial assistance per semester to each student who meets the scholarship criteria. Additional funding may be awarded based on demonstrated financial need or additional years of renewal, subject to recommendations by the scholarship committee, approval by the ÿÈÕ³Ô¹Ï Promise Board of Directors, and the availability of funds. ÿÈÕ³Ô¹Ï Promise, Inc. is committed to supporting students at Garfield CLC in their pursuit of higher education, with the ultimate goal of making tuition free college for these students a reality.
